Kegworth Scout Group Welcome to Kegworth Scout Group. This is the Public home page for Beavers, Cubs & Scouts in Kegworth. There is also a closed Group for Parents, Carers & Leaders.

Please register using the website link on this page to take you to our waiting list. We have a very active scout group in Kegworth. Usually we run every week during Leicestershire school term times: Friday evenings for Beavers and Cubs, and Monday evenings for Scouts in Kegworth Village Hall with additional camps and activities at weekends throughout the year. Drop us a line or email if you are interested in joining any of our sections or want to find out more, all welcome.

💙 FREE Water Safety Awareness Sessions 💙

Following the recent tragic drownings, we're offering FREE water safety sessions to help young people stay safe around open water and know what to do in an emergency.

👧 Ages: 6–21 years (others welcome if spaces are available).

The Cubs and Scouts had a great night at Spring Lakes on Friday. They learnt essential water safety and survival skills from a life guard. There has been a lot of awful news of children loosing their lives while wild swimming in the recent hot weather. We discussed the safe places to swim, what to do if out of depth or struggling in the water, also the safe way we can help someone in the water.

They had time on the kayaks and paddle boards before having fun on the aqua park. Thanks you to Northwest Leicestershire community lottery fund for the grant which largely subsidised the event.

The ducks have all been counted ready for this Sundays race. Tickets still available, including on the day. Hope to see ...
