Learn about planting plans, colour schemes and sources of inspiration, while exploring the herbaceous borders, themed areas and changing displays throughout the garden. Along the way, our gardeners will share practical hints and tips to help you keep your own garden looking its best through the summer months.

Discover how the garden transforms from month to month, and gain a behind-the-scenes understanding of the work involved in maintaining this productive and ornamental space all year round. Within these historic walls, a rich variety of cut flowers, fruit and vegetables are grown, making the garden as productive as it is beautiful.

Each tour is tailored to the season, ensuring every visit is unique and shaped by what is in bloom at the time.

May’s main attractions are peonies, wisteria and the garden coming to life.

Today marks the beginning of Floors Castle’s open season, where the Roxburghe family opens the Castle doors to the public until October. It’s a chance to explore and enjoy meandering through this beautiful, historical building, witnessing all of its artefacts, spanning 11 generations of the family in residence. Join our guides as they lead you through the history of this magnificent Scottish castle and all of its treasures.

The Castle, Gardens and Grounds are now open seven days a week, with the Golden Gates open from 11am to 3pm, and access via the Garden Entrance on the B6397 from 10am to 5pm.

Free parking is available, under 16s visit free of charge, and dogs are very welcome in the Gardens and Grounds. Entry tickets are valid for 7 days.
