𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐟𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐳𝐞 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞
Due to the weather conditions experienced earlier in the growing season, the sunflowers have developed more slowly than anticipated. As a result, our planned opening date of 1st July has been postponed, and we are now aiming to open the Sunflower Maze on 31st July.

As this is a natural seasonal experience, opening dates may vary depending on sunflower growth, flowering conditions, and the weather throughout the season. While we are working towards a 31st July opening, this date may be subject to change if conditions require.

The maze will open once the sunflowers are tall enough to form the maze, before they are fully in bloom, and will remain open throughout the flowering period.

Silent Disco Yoga - Chilled Vibes N Beats

Join Floating Sound Bath Scotland | COYAMA this Sunday morning for an energising 75 minute open-air yoga session, guided through wireless headsets with uplifting Balearic beats in the background. Flow through sun salutations and movement with music inspired by the iconic Ibiza sound - think Café del Mar, dreamy synths, and feel-good tunes.

This is yoga with a difference, set in nature, surrounded by community, and connected by rhythm. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or trying it for the first time, this playful practice invites you to breathe, move, and dance into stillness.

The peonies are looking fantastic in the Walled Garden just now, with the delphiniums starting to put on a real show too.

The cutting garden is filling up nicely and providing plenty of flowers for arrangements around the Castle, while the kitchen garden and borders are changing almost daily as Summer gets underway.

If you’ve not visited recently, it’s a lovely time to see the Garden at its best.

As restoration work is carried out on the Castle roof, we’re celebrating the incredible builders of the natural world. Uncover 10 fascinating Animal Architect signs, collect hidden letters, and solve the secret word challenge while discovering how animals build, design and create in the wild. Perfect for curious young minds and adventurous families!

The Amazing Animal Architects Trail runs daily from 5th June until 30th September. Explore the Castle Grounds using your trail map, enjoy nature, solve clues and discover the wonderful world of animal architects together.
