What a week! 🌞🌞 We hope you have all been managing to stay as cool as possible! ❄ Despite the heat, the show must go on at Jubilee House and this is what your Town Council have been up to this week...
🍦 Our Council Chamber played host to a meeting between Members, WCC Officers and Persimmon Homes concerning traffic calming measures and pedestrian safety at Kenilworth Gate. It was a productive meeting with a clear list of the next steps to take.
🍦 Our Town Mayor has been out and about visiting local primary schools to spread the message of 100 years of the carnival and to promote our town theme of celebrating community! A commemorative bookmark was also handed out to all children.
🍦 Our Youth Council have been making themselves known on social media this week. If you haven't already please do give them a follow on Instagram or TikTok
🍦 Thursday night saw our members gather for our General Services Committee Meeting and Planning Committee Meeting. Members discussed the possibility of holding a Community Forum in early autumn to present the Town Councils new Strategy, alongside any development on Local Government Reorganisation.
