Today we celebrate 'Reserves Day' Reservists give up their spare time to serve in the Reserve Forces, balancing their civilian life with a military career to ensure that should their country require them, they would be ready to serve as part of the military.

The Reserve Forces make up approximately one sixth of our Armed Forces personnel and as such are integral to protecting the nation’s security at home and overseas, particularly providing capability in specialist areas such as medical and cyber.

The sun is shining 🌞 and the Coronation Party is in full swing at the Elgar Centre (on until 5pm today) . Fantastic FREE activities including Face Painting, Balloon Making, Bouncy Castles and a Punch and Judy Show. Don't forget to collect your crown and flag 🇬🇧. Lots of great food and drink available to purchase too 🍕🍻🍔

The Annual Parish Meeting of Upton will be held at St Crispins Community Centre on 9th May at 1915. The Parish Council will give an update on its work during the last 12 months and the meeting is open to all residents to attend. Any matter related to the Parish can be raised for discussion.
