What a fantastic day at the Pershore Plum Festival! 🍑

Our stand and Tombola were busy throughout the day as we spread awareness of Prostate Cancer, chatted with lots of visitors and raised funds to help us continue supporting men and their loved ones through their cancer journey.

A HUGE thank you to our amazing volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm today. 🙌

Your support makes what we do possible — and today was a resounding success! 💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, had a chat and supported our Tombola. Every conversation, every donation and every volunteer makes a difference.

We had a stall at last week’s Shedfest, the annual national conference of the Men’s Shed Association held once again at the Worcester Arena.

It was great to have three new volunteers (Phill, Nat and Adam) join the five regulars who manned the stand in two-hour shifts through the day.

It was a great opportunity to engage with men from all over the country and with those running the Tackle Prostate Cancer stand next to ours.

Our investment programme wouldn't exist without supporters willing to back a different approach to accelerating research.

By supporting PCR's work, they're helping promising technologies move closer to the men and families who need them.

A huge thank you to every member of Ignite whose support makes this possible.

💙 Friends, partners and loved ones… you could help SAVE A MAN’S LIFE

If the men in your life are:

🔵 Over 50
🔵 Black men aged 45 or over
🔵 Men aged 45+ with a family history of prostate cancer

👉 Please encourage them to have a PSA blood test.

They can speak to their GP, or register for one of our PSA testing events.

Prostate cancer can have no obvious symptoms in its early stages, so don’t wait for something to feel wrong.

❤️ A simple conversation could make a difference.

Please share this post and encourage the men you care about to get checked.
