Worcestershire Prostate Cancer Support Group is pleased to welcome Lorraine Grover to speak at our Kidderminster meeting on Monday 12th October.

Lorraine is a highly experienced Psychosexual Nurse Specialist and S*x Therapist, based in London and High Wycombe. She is renowned for her pioneering clinical work in sexual health, erectile dysfunction and intimacy recovery following serious illness.

🔵 A Black man aged 45 or over?
🔵 Aged 45+ with a family history of Prostate Cancer, Breast or Ovarian Cancer

💙 A simple PSA blood test could help save your life if diagnosed at an early stage.

Friends, partners, wives, family members and loved ones — you could help make a difference.

👉 Please encourage the men in your life to have a PSA blood test.

Men with an increased risk of Prostate Cancer can speak to their GP or register for one of our PSA testing events.

⚠️ Prostate cancer can have no obvious symptoms in its early stages, so don’t wait until something feels wrong.

Following the petition reaching 100,000 signatures, the case for a national prostate cancer screening programme will be debated in Parliament on 26 October.

We are encouraging everyone who feels strongly about this issue to contact their MP and ask them to attend the debate, support national screening and, where possible, speak in Parliament.

We’ve put together a template letter to make it easy. Please personalise the sections in [brackets], especially your own experience or connection to prostate cancer. A personal letter can help your MP understand why this issue matters to you.

Please take a few minutes to contact your MP — your voice could help make a difference.

Joining a support group can make a real difference. Come along and meet others who truly understand what you’re going through, share experiences, ask questions, or simply enjoy a chat in a friendly and supportive environment.

Thanks to everyone who voted, signed, shared and supported the campaign to get prostate cancer screening back on the agenda.

👏 The matter of a screening programme for Prostate Cancer will now be debated in Parliament on Monday 26th October.

This is a huge step forward in the campaign for earlier diagnosis and saving lives.
