🌟 A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful children and families who sponsored our athlete as part of the Sports For Champions event! 🌟

Your kindness and generosity are greatly appreciated and helped make this fantastic experience possible for our children. 💙

We would also like to say a special thank you to Caitlin Witham 🏑 for spending time with us and sharing her journey as a field hockey athlete. The children loved hearing about her passion for the sport, learning about the importance of a healthy diet 🥗 and regular exercise 🏃‍♀️, and taking part in the fun circuit training sessions she led. 💪✨

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, enthusiastic and eager to challenge themselves throughout the afternoon. 😃 They thoroughly enjoyed every moment and came away feeling inspired to stay active, healthy and believe in their own potential to shine. ⭐

We’re thrilled to welcome Caitlin Witham, 🌟 Wales hockey player and member of the GB Elite Development Squad, who will be visiting us next Friday! 🏑🔥 She’ll be inspiring the children with her story and leading exciting activities for children in Reception to Year 6.

Cases of measles are rising in Worcestershire.

Here's some helpful advice from our Public Health colleagues on what you need to know.

Measles spreads very easily. In some cases, it can make you very ill and lead to serious health problems if it spreads to other parts of the body, such as the lungs or brain.

Check the list of symptoms below to know what to look out for. If you think you or your child may have measles or any of the symptoms, call your GP surgery or NHS 111 first, before turning up at a healthcare setting. This will help to stop the virus from spreading.

Having the MMRV or MMR vaccine is the best way to prevent yourself from becoming very ill.

Ask at your GP surgery if you're not sure you or your child has had either of these vaccines. Your GP can vaccinate you for free on the NHS.

If any school aged children have missed their MMR vaccination or any vaccination given at school, parents can contact the Vaccination Team who will help arrange for the missed vaccinations to be given: 01905 390030.
