East Ayrshire Council's Economic Development Team is exploring the delivery of a series of procurement workshops designed to help local businesses improve their understanding of public sector tendering and bidding opportunities.

Potential workshop topics include:

✔ Finding procurement opportunities, frameworks and contract pipelines

✔ Understanding pre-qualification requirements

✔ Developing strong responses to selection criteria

✔ Demonstrating capability, capacity and track record

✔ Quick Quote opportunities

Wishing all those taking part in this weekend’s Roon The Toon the very best of luck!

It’s always a fantastic event for Kilmarnock, bringing together runners, supporters and the wider community for a brilliant day in the town. This year is extra special as the event celebrates its 10th anniversary, alongside its exciting World Cup edition.

One of Ayrshire’s most popular events, Roon the Toon takes over the streets with a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The much-loved 10K route winds through the town centre and surrounding areas, offering a fast, mainly flat course that suits everyone—from first-time runners to those aiming for a new personal best.

With plenty of support along the route and a real buzz throughout the town, it’s a fantastic celebration of sport, community spirit and local pride.💙

KILLIE BEER FEST RETURNS FOR A SECOND YEAR!🍻

The one-day event will again be held in the grounds of Rugby Park this Saturday (30th May) and follows the success of last summer's inaugural festival, which saw over 1400 revelers battle the elements to have a great day.

This year's event will again showcase the best of Scotland's craft brewers and drinks brands, supported by lip-smacking street food and fantastic live music.

A fun-filled community event, there will also be gin, cocktails, wine and fantastic street food on offer, as well as plenty of suds.💙
