To ensure that our page remains a clear, useful and enjoyable resource for everyone, we have established the following policies:

**Bullying behaviour**

We welcome and will engage in constructive discussion and criticism, but we will not tolerate any form of aggressive or bullying behaviour on our page towards our staff or othe

r users. If any member of our page feels that they are being bullied via the page, please contact us at [email protected]

Examples of bullying behaviour can include:

* Derogatory remarks
* Rude or aggressive posts or comments
* Insensitive jokes and pranks
* Insulting or aggressive behaviour
* Inappropriate public criticism

If aggressive behaviour or bullying persists after a private warning, we will remove any offending posts or comments and report such behaviour to Facebook. We will not tolerate any discrimination against anyone on the grounds of their race, colour, nationality, religion, ethnic or national origins, sexual orientation, disability or age.

**Moderation**

We reserve the right to remove content posted on the wall at our discretion. We will also not accept repetitive posts or posts that we consider not to be relevant in the context of the page (spamming). We will delete posts which infringe the copyright of third-party websites (by posting an entire news article, for example). We will also remove comments which stray to a considerable degree off-topic, in order to ensure a proper discussion can take place on a given subject. We will not participate, encourage or condone any behaviour that is illegal, dangerous or offensive to other people and we will remove links to websites or other sites that express views counter to what East Ayrshire Vibrant Communities is trying to achieve or which go beyond the boundaries of normal debate by being offensively derogatory. If this behaviour persists after a warning then we reserve the right to ban individuals from the page

This months Dumfries House tea dance is underway 170 guests from older people’s groups from around East Ayrshire have enjoyed High tea and are now dancing the afternoon away to the fabulous Neil Angus. Dumfries House tea dances are organised by Ayrshire360 in partnership with Dumfries House and aim to reduce social isolation within older and disabled residents of East Ayrshire.

A reminder that the Ayrshire Rural Islands and Ambition Fund is now open for Expressions of Interest for both the Main Fund, for both capital and revenue projects, and the Community Asset Maintenance Fund, which will fund building surveys and provide a sink fund for repairs and maintenance. The closing date for EOIs is 22 May 2026.

The ARIA Fund supports rural Ayrshire communities with funding for local projects, sustainability and growth through community-led investment.
