It’s been an awesome few days teaching foraging across Devon and Cornwall to some inspirational people. I’m generally terrible at putting anything out on social media and rely on word of mouth to spread the word. These photos were shared by some of the awesome people I’ve been working with, where we have been sharing knowledge and exploring together. I hope to be sharing more about some of the treasures in the Devon hedgerows and seashores that we are lucky to have year round. We had a great cook up on the beach of tempura hogweed shoots and wild garlic flower heads dipped in ground ivy cider vinegar and herb bennet syrup with wild garlic salt seasoning and munching on pepper dulse and various wild salads and flowers as we meandered down to the beach

Lucky to be asked to deliver seaweed workshops at the vivo barefoot retreat again this year. So many great people and such an awesome company. I have had knee pain since I was 13 due to a climbing accident and finally no longer do at 40 and all down to wearing barefoot shoes for the last year! My feet have changed shape and I can skateboard pain free again:) this year we will be looking at some of the health benefits of seaweed and how to use them in everyday life from seaweed gel to kelp crisps.

Great time exploring with the group last week for their team building break. We found loads of wild edibles, had a cook up on the beach and learnt lots about poisonous plants as well as healthy spring plants getting us in touch with the seasons:)
