East Prawle This is the Official East Prawle village in South Devon! East Prawle is on the coast at the most southerly tip of Devon.

The Village is in the South Hams near Kingsbridge. Here there is a Public House, a Shop & Café and the Parish Community Hall. East Prawle is surrounded by beach and coastal walks

The Church of England Parish Church, St. Sylvester’s is situated in the small hamlet of Chivelstone. The area has many special designations, including:

Coastal Preservation Area
Heritage Coast
Site of Special Scientific Interest and Conservation Areas


Ford, South Allington and Lannacombe make up the other settlements of the parish.

Bank Holiday Sunday is shaping up nicely at the East Prawle Festival.
Alongside the live music, food and festival atmosphere, we’ve got a full afternoon of activities lined up for all ages — including yoga, dog agility, birds of prey displays and prize presentations throughout the day.

🧘 Yoga – 1PM
🦅 Birds of Prey – 1:45PM & 4PM
🐶 Dog Agility – 2–4PM
🏆 Prize Giving – 4:15PM

A great afternoon for families, dog lovers and anyone looking to enjoy the festival atmosphere by the coast.

Just over two weeks to go.
On the Village Green from 12:30pm with a full afternoon of things to see and do — live music, food and craft market, circus performances, animal encounters, birds of prey, a magician, and plenty for families including the dog obstacle course and funfair stalls.

Music across the afternoon from Alex K, Yonder Folk and Nick the Fish, plus a surprise guest.
It’s shaping up to be a busy one.
