Saturday Showroom Assistant – Weaver Green

We're looking for a friendly, reliable person to help in our Weaver Green showroom on Saturdays from 10am–2pm in Loddiswell.

You'll be assisting Jo with welcoming customers, answering basic enquiries, keeping the showroom tidy, and helping create a positive shopping experience.

We're looking for someone who:
• Enjoys meeting and talking to people
• Is organised and dependable
• Has a positive, can-do attitude
• Has retail or customer service experience (preferred but not essential)

We saw our first house martin whizz through the gardens this morning, the tulips are in full flower and spring is now very much with us, and with the changing of seasons we are DELIGHTED to welcome the wonderful ‘Curator’ to Heron Valley Orchards.

We have always used Matteo and Sarahs’ delicious wood roasted Curator coffee, and have driven out of our way to visit their wonderful coffee shop in Totnes, so when we were looking for partners to help us run our lovely coffee shop here at Heron Valley, they were our immediate first choice..

The new ‘Curator at Heron Valley orchards’ will be taking over the running of our café this month, with exciting new additions to our lunch menu, their wonderful Italian bread, and home made pastries all joining the fold.

Our lovely café team remain the same, with a friendly Heron Valley and Weaver Green welcome to all our visitors, a gravy bone for all our lovely doggie guests and beautiful gardens and covered porch to enjoy throughout the summer….

We look forward to seeing all soon and wish a warm welcome to the Curator as part of our family!

Weaver Green Showroom retail position!

We’ve got an exciting part-time role (20+ hours) available in our Weaver Green showroom.

At Weaver Green, we create beautiful rugs and textiles made from 100% recycled plastic bottles. We’re looking for someone to join our friendly retail team on a part-time basis (including Sundays), with a bit of flexibility to help cover holidays when needed.

We’re a well-established, family-run business, based in a lovely spot near Loddiswell, Kingsbridge. Our shop sits among the orchards at Heron Valley, with amazing views across Devon’s Avon Valley.

Responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the showroom
• Making sure every customer has a great experience
• Cashing up and balancing the till at the end of the day
• Being a great ambassador for the brand and giving everyone a warm, friendly welcome

Salary is negotiable depending on experience.
