Recent access control upgrade completed in Scunthorpe 🔐

We’ve recently installed a Paxton Net2 access control system for an existing customer, along with a Paxton video entry system and two internal monitors.

This gives the customer better control over who can enter the building, while also allowing staff to see and speak to visitors before releasing the door.

A tidy little upgrade that makes day-to-day access much easier and improves site security at the same time.

For anyone using the Pyronix HomeControl 2.0 app, Pyronix have issued a service notification this morning.

Some users may be experiencing connection delays, timeouts, or a “failed to create secure connection” message when trying to connect through the app.

The important bit:

The alarm systems themselves are still operating as normal, and alarm signalling, monitoring and core security functions have not been affected.

This appears to be an app/cloud connection issue only. Pyronix are currently working on it and will provide an update shortly.

So basically, your alarm has not gone on strike. The app is just having a Friday morning moment.
