Alamo Legal Enforcement Services Limited is now approaching its 10th year of trading and while I have tried to avoid a certain ‘Tax Train’ the growth and ongoing success of the business has meant I have finally had to register to VAT. While I recognise this will mean an increase to my invoices I draw comfort from the fact that the majority my clients are indeed VAT registered themselves - for individuals who are not VAT registered I will of course continue to welcome your business and be happy to discuss costings in advance.

Buisness Expansion:- Well last week I finally completed the acquisition of C F Naylor & Co which is a business that was founded in 1962 and has been operated for many years by Melissa PULLEN. Alamo Legal Enforcement Services will now incorporate the work undertaken by Melissa and will hopefully see a steady growth in the professional services offered to clients.

The recent global pandemic has had an impact on many lives and quite rightly the Ministry of Justice placed restrictions on civil enforcement. These restrictions are to be reviewed / lifted on the 24th August 2020, following which the working practices of the enforcement industry will need to be closely managed

Out of all the re-possessions I have carried out on behalf of private landlords this has to be up there with the worse I have seen.

Received another enquiry from a local resident who has received a call from a male purporting to be a 'Bailiff'. Stated that he had a judgement against the resident from 2014 and requested a payment of £4000 within the hour to avoid a van attending his address and seizing goods. This is becoming a regular enquiry with me and I can't stress enough "IT'S A SCAM". Do not pay them. Contact me for further information if you are concerned that you may have had a call.
