Hello September!

This month we have a few special events:

💚Wed 2nd - the return of Memories Meeting Group for the Autumn Term.

🧸Sunday 6th - the Toy Sale: see individual notice for more details.

☕🍰Sat 26th - Macmillan Coffee Morning!

And don't forget the children have until Sat 12th to complete their Summer Reading Challenge so don't forget to pop in to get their third visit ticked off and collect their medal and certificates!

The Toy Sale is on this coming Sunday - 6th September.

Had a Bank Holiday clear-out?
Why not donate your toys to Ratby Library to be sold. Any toys left will be taken to Rainbows Hospice charity shops.

Due to storage issues we can not accept donations until Thurs 3rd September.

Please do not leave donations outside there library as we can not guarantee their safety / dryness!

Clean, working children's toys only please. No clothing apart from fancy dress costumes.

The Summer Reading Challenge is still open and available for new and existing registrants.

Sign up at Ratby Library for the 4-12yrs challenge and the Under 4's challenge too.
Its FREE and all you need to do is read (listen to) 6 books and visit the library 3 times to collect stickers and rewards.

If you've already registered please do pop back in to complete the challenge.

LAST CHANCE for the Uniform Swop-Shop!
There are just 5 days left before school returns and we have lots of uniform available.

The following times are our open sessions where you can pop in to browse:

Friday: 21st 2-4.30pm
Sat 22nd: 10am-12pm
Monday 24th: 10am-12.30pm or 2-4.30pm
Tuesday 25th: 2-4.30pm

Ratby and Brookvale uniforms only.

Its here.....The details for the Toy Sale 2026!!

When: Sunday 6th September
Times: 10am - 2pm
Indoor and Outdoor stalls available for £5 each.
OR drop off your toys from 3rd September onwards for the library to sell.

This is for CHILDREN'S TOYS only. Strictly no clothing apart from Fancy Dress outfits.
Toys must be clean, safe and in working order. Batteries may be removed.
NO business or wholesale bookings please.

Toys remaining at the end can be donated to Rainbows Hospice Shops.

Thurssday 6th August - Wriggly Readers is going outdoors!

We will be at Ferndale Park, Ratby from 1030am for stories and song.
Bring a picnic or snacks and stay for play after the session.

Hats / suncream highly recommended!
Chairs / blankets optional.

⏰ This month we have our reduced opening hours - see times below.

👔The Uniform Swop Shop is open all summer so pop in to swop, drop-off or pick up (suggested donation £1 per item). Ratby and Brookvale uniforms only.

📚🔖 🌟 🎶The The Reading Agency Summer Reading Challenge is well underway but there is time to still sign up and complete the 6-read challenge! Pop in to update your progress or join for FREE! The challenge has been extended this year until 12th September!
This year's theme is and we will have a pop up music activity later in the summer.

📚Book Club are having their summer social at The Bulls HEad on Tues 4th from 7.30pm. All welcome.

⁉The monthly Quiz is on as usual - 14th August.

And.....the return of Lego ® Club - Sat 22nd Aug.
