Business Gateway East Dunbartonshire Providing free practical advice and guidance to new and existing businesses in East Dunbartonshire.

If you’re inspired to start up a new business or grow your company, there’s lots of support and advice available from East Dunbartonshire Council and other public sector partners to help set you off in the right direction. We provide access to finance, business planning and strategy advice, business information, and a programme of fully funded training workshops for business in East Dunbartonshire.

East Dunbartonshire Council are offering local businesses an opportunity to access funding to help with the costs of creating new engineering related apprenticeships. Four grants of up £7500 will be available to help with the costs of training and wages. The funding will be paid over the initial 6 months of the apprenticeship. Please note eligibility and an application assessment process will apply to applications. This programme is funded by the Scottish Government.

Applications have opened for the Food and Drink Processing Scheme Scotland as part of a £9 million investment package.

This investment offers match-funded capital grants to businesses backing projects to increase productivity, improve efficiency, and invest in new equipment and technology.
