For our next Ladies Night, we will be playing with kiln-carving. This is such a great way to get designs into glass. The pattern ends up embossed into the underside of the piece. A particular favourite design of mine is a naughty word carved into coloured glass - you often can’t see it unless you look closely!

Ladies Nights start at 7pm and you have two hours to create your bespoke piece of art glass whilst sipping a glass of bubbles and chatting with friends or new acquaintances. It's a great way to switch off at the end of a busy week.

So, pop the date in your diaries...
Friday 3rd July at 7pm.

£38 per person to include one glass of prosecco and nibbles. Please feel free to bring yourself/your group more bubbles.

Whilst studio workshops offer full freedom over what you create, Ladies’ Nights are so interesting because it’s an opportunity to see 10+ different interpretations of the same technique

The dragonfly was unexpected but a very good example of taking the same method of construction and applying it to a different shape!

Isn’t the before and after so fascinating? It’s often hard to visualise exactly how the fired piece will look

These beautiful coasters were made here in the Glasshouse recently by a lady who simply wanted to make a nebula type design to match her night sky mugs.
I think she nailed it don't you!

We'll be making a fused glass letter from the alphabet.

Ladies Evenings are always fun and a great way to switch off at the end of the working week.

The evening costs £35 per person and includes all materials, nibbles and a glass of prosecco. You are very welcome to bring more bubbles if you wish.

Come on your own for some well deserved me-time or come with your girlfriends and have a catch up whilst getting creative.

I couldn’t not post the rest of these gorgeous cast hearts - just look at them!

This is such a different technique to normal fusing, resulting in a really chunky, heavy piece of glass. More akin to a paperweight than anything else that comes out of the studio.
