We will be holding a Car Wash on Saturday 28th March alongside our colleagues from Gorsaf Dân ac Achub Llanandras/ Presteigne Fire and Rescue Station, Kington Fire Station and Kingsland Fire Station.

We have taken the decision to close the road between Wilde Lodge and Stanage Castle along the A4113 East of Knighton. This is due to the speed and depth of water that is overflowing the culvert.

Powys County Council have been requested to close officially and we are awaiting their arrival.

Last night we invited our retired Station Manager Andrew Richards and retired Training Officer Dai Price to join the crew and SM Oli Tziros to celebrate Watch Manager Martin Neary reaching 30 years service as an On Call Firefighter in Knighton. Martin joined the crew in Knighton on 30th August 1995 and Dai Price was one of his instructors

We hope you will join us in celebrating Martin's 30 years and hope that he continues with us for a few more years yet.
