💛Paint Knutsford Yellow!💛

Is in full swing! Well done to the one and only Mr Pop Peddles for bringing the town together to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis Trust

So much joy in the town today and we know how hard Peter has worked to organise the week 👏👏

This radical re-telling of an ancient myth explores growing up, discovering the light and dark sides of ourselves, finding the wild stuff within us and how we navigate the orbits we get stuck in.

Church Hill Road Closure: 15 June – c.28 June 2026

All businesses will remain open as usual.

Church Hill is closed from today until c. 28th June whilst essential conservation and repair works are carried out by Tatton Estate to the Watson Building. The closure is required to allow scaffolding to be erected safely so that a programme of external restoration works can take place. During this time, there is no through traffic.

Traffic management will also be in place on King Street from 15th June to c. 17th July 2026.

These works will help preserve one of Knutsford's historic buildings. Built in 1911, the Watson Building occupies one of the most prominent positions in Knutsford at the junction of King Street and Church Hill. Originally home to Watson & Son, it formed part of a thriving independent business community and was once known for its grocery and bakery business, selling everything from freshly baked bread and roasted coffee to cooked meats and household essentials.

Today, the building continues to play an important role in the town centre and is home to businesses including Satya Sanctuary, Susie Watson Designs and Just Drop In. These businesses, along with neighbouring businesses such as Jessica Stone Salons, will remain open throughout the works.

Although we know they are not particularly new to the town it was lovely to properly meet Victoria and Jason of Casbah Fitness the other day.

The gym has been fully refurbished and is a welcoming space for all plus it is open 7 days a week from 5am to 10pm.

We've also heard that they will have a starring role in Mr Pop Peddles campaign to paint the town yellow (starts next week!) to help raise awareness of Cystic Fibrosis.
