Wishing all our followers, friends and partner services a safe and happy Christmas. For all the children across the area - it’s very important to sleep tonight so Santa can pay a socially distanced visit.

2020 has been a challenging year and the Festive period can be even tougher for many especially as we adapt to new restrictions and the disappointment of not being able to see loved ones ,friends and family.
Someone is always there to listen and give advice.

Team training evenings and again focusing on Search this week, taking into consideration various possible scenarios and outcomes whilst implementing dynamic assessment techniques throughout.

A return to scheduled (socially distanced) team training evenings this week for HMCG Kyle Team with a simulated L&MPS (Lost & Missing Person Search) and Casualty Care exercise at The Ploc in Kyle.

Amidst challenging conditions and freezing temperatures the team were deployed quickly and efficiently after the initial search brief, implementing a range of search technique skills for locating and accessing the missing person then administering on scene first aid to stabilise and ultimately extract the casualty to safety.

Regular inter team training evenings with varying SAR scenarios ensures our high levels skills set remain, even through the challenging times we currently face.
