PUBLIC HEALTH ALERT: VOLUNTARY RECALL OF SELECT LOTS OF GAS-X EXTRA STRENGTH SOFTGELS

Haleon is issuing a voluntary nationwide recall of four specific lots of Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels (125mg), in both 72-count and 120-count packages. This recall is being initiated due to potential contamination with a diluted propylene glycol-based coolant from a machine leak during the packaging process.

Potential Health Effects:
Ingestion of the contaminated softgels could potentially lead to adverse events, including nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. To date, Haleon has not received any reports of adverse events related to this issue.

Affected Products:
This recall is limited to the specific lots listed below. No other lots of Gas-X Extra Strength, or any other Gas-X products, are affected by this recall.

What Consumers Should Do:
Consumers who have purchased Gas-X Extra Strength Softgels should check the lot number on their packaging to see if it is one of the affected lots. If the lot number matches, consumers should immediately stop using the product.

The 48 MDG is excited to invite you to their first Women’s Health Fair on Friday, 5 June, from 0900 to 1400 at the Eagle's Landing Ballroom.

This event is dedicated to the health and well-being of our tri-base military women and dependent community. It will serve as a one-stop platform to promote awareness, education, and access to valuable healthcare resources.

Join us to:

* Hear from expert speakers to gain insight into menopause, breast cancer awareness, and other health factors defining women’s lives today.

* Visit booths from various on-base organizations and hospital departments to learn about the fantastic services and resources available within our community.

URGENT RECALL: a2 Platinum Infant Formula

IMPORTANT SAFETY ALERT FOR PARENTS AND CAREGIVERS
The a2 Milk Company is voluntarily recalling three batches of its a2 Platinum Premium infant formula (0-12 months, 31.7oz tin) due to a potential health risk from the presence of a toxin called cereulide which is produced by bacillus cereus.

What is the risk?
The presence of cereulide can cause gastrointestinal illness, including vomiting and nausea. While no illnesses have been reported, consumers should not use the affected product.

Check Your Formula:
The recall applies ONLY to the following batches sold in the United States through a2MC's website, Amazon, and Meijer stores. Please check the bottom of the can for the batch number and "Use By" date.

What to do:

1. STOP using the formula immediately.

2. Dispose of the product or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

3. If your infant has consumed the product and shows symptoms like nausea or vomiting, contact your healthcare provider right away.
