Our Brad was invited this week by Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, to Lytham Hall, whereby he learned about salvage plans & heritage crime, presented by Historic England.

The afternoon consisted of the Fire and Rescue Service & Lytham Hall staff carrying out a 'live' salvage practical exercise.

He found it such an interesting day, and managed to catch up with friends from English Heritage, National Trust & The Church of England 😊

Works start soon at a National Museum installing many App-based controlled optical beam smoke detectors… 😍

A 'tricky' program of works is being produced, working closely with the curators, so as to manoeuvre the MEWP around the museums collections.

We have installed a number of optical beam smoke detectors, using App-based control, as cabling low level controllers is seriously challenging in Graded heritage buildings.

What a fantastic Christmas present we have just received…

Great end to the week with us appreciatively gaining a ‘considerable’ size order for a project in Liverpool; the Walker Art Gallery & County Sessions House, for the National Museums Liverpool.

This project will consist of approx. 630 wireless fire detection & alarm devices, along with many optical beam smoke detectors. Major planning & preparation is required for height access around the museums stunning collections & artefacts….

We were recently asked to install & commission a number of Scope Radio Paging Systems into the Churchill War Rooms & the Imperial War Museum London.

There was a recognised need to transmit fire data from the Advanced MxPro5's, site wide, from the Fire Control Centres; forming part of an 'early response' fire strategy.

On this particular project we used the powerful Connexions 6 with EPOC-S Responders (pager units).

If you would like to be 'speedily' notified of fire detection data information, anywhere on your site - not just at the fire alarm control panel once the alarms have activated 😐; with fire detection information received onto a small pager unit, please do feel free to drop me a line to discuss modifying your fire strategy to suit this technology.

Service & maintenance this month, so our Roberta was working in London last week, at a number of sites we ‘look after’ up & down the country [English Heritage _ Church of England].

For both of these properties, we installed Sygno-fi wireless fire detection & alarm systems, therefore all the ‘heavy lifting’ of retrieving translator/field maintenance records for the servicing reports, she used the ‘wizardry’ wireless dongle; phenomenal technology for engineers.

This type of technology seriously assists engineers in the field and forms a fundamental part of our design for installations in challenging historic heritage buildings.

We are working at one of our clients 'outbuildings', at the International Centre for Modern Kadampa Buddhism in the Lake District.

We are installing wireless fire detection & alarms, as cabling is not an option, on an MxPro5, which we are networking to another 4 systems.
