t on the outside. Quirky on the inside. This hidden gem of a property is nestled within the grounds of our home, which is almost at the foot of Lancaster Castle. Inside Castle View, the bedroom and bathroom are a real surprise (most people gasp when they open the doors!) and everything is kitted out with your complete comfort in mind. A king size natural mattress, Egyptian cotton bed linen, Smeg fridge/freezer and a giant 'loaf' sofa to sink into in front of the wood burner. Guest access

Neighbourhood overview
Castle View is situated within the peaceful Lancaster Castle Conservation area and yet only 3 minutes walk to the shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Try our destination cafe, 'The Hall', for the best flat white in the UK and Filberts bakery for scrumptious artisan breads and pastries. If history is your thing then a visit to the castle is obviously a must...and if you're a culture vulture then we're a 10 minute walk to The Dukes theatre and cinema. Take in the views or even a sunset from Williamson Park - home to the iconic Ashton Memorial and 54 acres of beautiful parkland with enchanting woodland walks and breathtaking views to the Fylde Coast, Morecambe Bay and the Lake District. Beauty surrounds this hidden gem of a city and the location really couldn't be better. There are so many stunning places to visit. Getting around
Getting around could not be easier! The property has it's own parking space. The train station really is 2 minutes away from the property gates. By train, Manchester airport is a direct 1 hour 15 train journey away. Oxenholme (The Lake District) is 12 mins. Yorkshire Dales 30 minutes. Morecambe 10 minutes. There are frequent direct trains to Edinburgh and London that take just under 2.5 hours. There are cycle tracks are on our doorstep to picturesque riverside locations and seaside towns. We are less than 10 minutes walk away to the bus station.
