⏱️ It's almost time for our care leavers sponsored run, Miles for Memories, this Saturday 18 April to help raise funds for activities to help them stay connected with each other. Have you seen their inspirational video yet? Hear their stories of what it's like to manage independently at such a young age, both financially and emotionally. They are asking for small contributions to create memories such as cinema trips that build friendships, day outings that broaden their world, Christmas meals that ensure no one is alone, and residential adventures that grow confidence.

Please give what you can on their go fund me page - https://www.gofundme.com/f/lancashire-care-leavers-on-the-move-miles-for-memories?attribution_id=sl:a06f320e-d095-41c4-b8d9-4e0568011956&lang=en_GB&ts=1773225356&utm_campaign=fp_sharesheet&utm_content=amp20_t2&utm_medium=customer&utm_source=qr_code

Friday 10th April 6-9pm as part of our Easter HAF programme!
Arts and Crafts (decorating baseball caps) and Chicken Fajitas too!

Places are limited to 30 young people.

Priority to young people eligible for free school meals (including those not in education) but we will not turn anyone away.

Friday is always a busy, popular night, so make sure you join us on time to be sure of your place!

Looking forward to Easter break!

We have something unique lined up for Friday 10th April 2026 at Morecambe Library 6-9pm!

Another chance to try the Afro-Brazilian martial art/dance form of Capoeira!

Originally developed by African slaves in Brazil to disguise their martial arts from their masters, they would disguise their moves as dance only to revert to their training when they got the all clear.

Join us with Instructor Andrea Mazzeo from Capoeira Ogum Lancaster to get an introduction to this beautiful but athletic form which combines non-contact kicks, cartwheels, evasions and cunning dodges! And learn how to play traditional rhythms and songs on the pandeiro, agogo and berimbau!

All fitness levels can participate - just let us know your needs.
Wear clothes suitable for sports or dance.

With some tasty Fajitas, its going to be an energy filled and tasty evening!😃🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️😀
