This evening we were on BBC “ The One show.” With JB from JLS
They were talking about our lambing and our vet students and how we find our students from the NSA lambing list.

It was a fun day filming early lambing.
We’ve now nearly finished lambing.
We are now closed to the public until next year.

It’s all go in the lambing yard this morning.

8 ewes have lambed so far and 4 are lambing at the moment .

Just turn up or book
We’re open between 9.30 and 4.00.

A lovely set of Quads were born at Coombes last night.

Come and visit our lambing yard this weekend.
And meet this ewe and her lovely 4 lambs.

There are lots of lambs and calves to see as well as the piglets.

We have 800 ewes lambing and 40 cows calving .
so by now we should have over 2,000 sheep on the farm
150 cattle enc Calves and 40 pigs and their piglets .
(Sorry I've not counted them, I might fall asleep.)

We are open everyday till this Sunday 19th
9.30 till 4.00

Lamb feeding is at 12.00 and 4.00 - We only take them off the ewes if they don’t have enough milk

There are the 30 Angus x calves from a local dairy farm and calf feeding is at 2.00

W do not charge extra for lamb and calf feeding its shared among those there.

The Tractor rides will be running everyday to see the animals out in the fields. .
Its a good 20 minutes ride to the top of the south downs to see the Farm animals and British wildlife
Amazing views out to sea and across the Weald to the north downs.

On Sunday afternoon at 4.00 Fr Zachary will be Blessing this years lambing. So come and join in .

The cafe is open for a cuppa and snacks
Bring your picnic to enjoy here.
The ice cream van is here weekends
There is disable and some Parking at the farm itself. but more Parking a short walk away at Passies Pond

Sunday is our last day of lambing.
To end our lambing season we will have our traditional lamb blessing service at 4.00
by Fr Zachary

All are welcome to join in Sunday 19th at 4.00.

It’s become a lovely tradition here at Coombes.
