This Friday 19th June at Laneham Memorial Hall it's cinema night once again, and this month we'll be showing The Choral.
As World War I rages on, Dr. Henry Guthrie takes over a British choral society that's lost most of its men to the army. The community soon discovers that the best response to the chaos of war is to make beautiful music together.
As always, tickets are a bargain at just £5 per person, and that includes free tea & coffee! Ice creams are available at the interval too, and we're delighted to be able to take card payments for tickets and refreshments too for the first time!
Cinema nights at the hall are not just about watching a great film - it's about heading out of the house for a few hours, moving off the same old sofa you're on night after night, and coming to soak up some community spirit and have a good natter with your neighbours.
Everyone is welcome - not just Laneham folk, but all our lovely neighbouring villagers and visitors to the local area too.
Doors open at 7pm, film starts 7.30pm.
