The community came together at Larbert High School to raise an incredible sum of more than £8,000 for Strathcarron Hospice at the recent Gratitude & Groove event, marking the hospice's 45th anniversary. 🎉

The retro themed evening kicked off with a "Trip Down Memory Lane" fashion show, with staff, pupils and former students modelling styles from across the decades. 👗 Guests also enjoyed live music, dance performances, a Mexican themed meal, raffle and disco, plus a one night only Dolly Parton tribute by one of the school's pupils that brought the house down. 🎶

Over in the atrium, a buzzing marketplace showcased pupil made crafts, 3D printed mementos, photography and local artisan stalls.

The night brought together pupils, staff, families, local businesses and community partners, with all proceeds going directly to Strathcarron Hospice to support its work across Falkirk, Clackmannanshire and Stirling.

A huge well done to everyone involved. ❤️

Yet another success at the national level for one of our young people. 👏

Crowned ‘Traditional Musician of the Year’ and the overall runner up for ‘Scottish Young Musician’ at the Scottish Young Musicians of the Year event in Glasgow at the weekend, Daniel Small, S5 from Larbert High School was recognised for his talent with the accordion. 🪗

This follows on from his win earlier this year as Falkirk Council’s Young ‘Musician of the Year’ back in March.

His talent is now taking him to a prestigious place at the Plockton Traditional Music School for S6 pupils.

A massive well done from everyone Daniel and good luck in S6. 🤩🥳

🏗️ Twenty-one S2 pupils from Falkirk High School have spent 10 months discovering that construction is about more than bricks and mortar.

From visiting BE-ST's innovation centre to designing what they'd like to see at the new Falkirk Town Hall site, the pupils got hands-on experience of the full range of careers the industry has to offer - from sustainability consultants to quantity surveyors, architects to bid writers.

On Tuesday they presented their finished designs at Rosebank Distillery.

A huge well done to everyone who took part, and thanks to Women in Property for making it happen. 👏

Big transformation in Slamannan! 🌿✨A stunning new pocket park has replaced the former Royal Hotel, once an eyesore at the heart of the village.

The park was officially opened today, bringing new green space to the village as part of wider investment that has also restored the village clock and improved the public realm.

A huge thank you to Slamannan Library Garden Club who will help plant and look after the park. 🌸💚
