Did you witness anything suspicious in Kenilworth between 4.25am and 5.00am today (18 October)?

We are investigating reports of break-ins at a supermarket on Leyes Lane and a jeweller on Warwick Road.

Officers attended quickly following the first report, but those involved had left the area before they arrived.

We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen anything unusual. We are also asking residents and motorists to check any doorbell, CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist our enquiries.

If you have information, please report it via our website or by calling 101, quoting incidents 58 and 64 of 18 October 2026.

Information can also be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.

We hope that you are all excited and ready for tonight’s Mop Fair in Warwick!

To make sure we can deter anyone we believe may be spoiling the fun for everyone else away from the fair, we are implementing a temporary Section 34 dispersal order from 5pm this evening (16 October).

This will be in place until 4am on Sunday 18 October and will allow us to take stronger action against people committing antisocial behaviour, ordering them to move away from the area or be arrested.

The areas affected will be those on the map below.

Our officers will be out and about throughout – if you need us, come and have a chat, we’re always happy to help.

We're appealing for witnesses following a collision outside Robert Dyas in Kenilworth on Saturday afternoon (10 October).

Emergency services were called to Warwick Road at around 2.45pm to a collision between the driver of a car (a Silver VW Passat) and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a woman in her early 60s, received serious head injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance where she is currently receiving treatment.

Today, PCSO Owen and Warwickshire Neighbourhood Watch attended Weston Under Wetherley Village Hall to give a talk on scam awareness. Various online and in person scams were discussed along with measures to prevent financial loss.

It was a great turn out from the village and they found the talk informative and thought provoking.

On Saturday (10/10/2026), PCSO Davies and PCSO Owen attended Radford Semele's annual Scarecrow Hunt. This was an excellent way to engage with the local community.

We were astounded to find out there were 45 creations hiding around the village, unfortunately, we didn't find them all. The time and effort that went into these marvellous figures was not lost on us. The selection ranged from the wonderful Dolly Parton (RIP) to Wall-e and the snail and the whale.

It was fantastic to see so many families out enjoying the event in the sunshine. Thank you to all of you who stopped us to say hello 👋🏼

Leamington Spa & Kenilworth SNT | Joint Licensing Operation 🍻 🚭

Last night, officers from the Leamington Spa and Kenilworth Safer Neighbourhood Teams conducted a joint operation alongside Warwickshire County Council Trading Standards and Warwick District Council Licensing.

The operation involved a combination of test purchasing, licensed premises visits, compliance checks, and intelligence gathering across the Warwick district. These proactive visits help ensure businesses are adhering to licensing legislation, identify any concerns at an early stage, and support the safety of our communities.

Partnership working is a key part of tackling issues linked to alcohol sales, underage purchasing of tobacco/nicotine products, anti-social behaviour, and wider criminality. Information gathered during these visits will help shape future activity and enforcement where necessary.

We would like to thank the businesses that engaged positively with officers and partner agencies throughout the operation.

Working together to keep Warwick district safe.
