Members of the public are welcome to attend and will have an opportunity to address the council on any item on the agenda during the public forum. We are not currently able to upload the agenda to our website in the usual way but a copy is available to read via the link on our home page. Full closure of B4451 Kineton Road, Southam
The road between Deppers Bridge and Southam will be closed for HS2 works from 8.00am on Monday, 12 October 2026 to 11.59pm on Sunday, 8 November 2026. The closure will be 24 hours per day. This is to allow for the road realignment and the opening of the new bridge. More information can be found here

HS2 Works Road Closure - B4451
The road between Southam and Deppers Bridge will be closed overnight 8pm to 6am from Monday 21 September to Friday 2
October while they continue to prepare for the new road realignment work.

Changes at the parish council.
After more than 14 years as the parish clerk, Alison Biddle will be leaving us at Christmas. This will be a big change for the council but we are pleased to welcome Pip Davis as clerk-designate as she joins our team this week. Pip has spent the last few years working as clerk to a parish council in Oxfordshire and is now looking forward to taking on new challenges in Harbury. Pip and Alison will work alongside each other over the next few months with Pip officially taking over the role of parish clerk from 1st January 2027.

The little memorial garden in Chapel Street has had a facelift. Huff landscapes ltd have done a brilliant job. The old, broken and tired crazy paving has been removed and we now have a lovely new smooth surface. Many thanks to Hamish and his team!

Stratford District Council’s Economic Development Team are hosting a business networking event on 29 September between 10am and 12noon at Wootton Park, B95 6HH.

The aim of the event is to bring together local businesses from across Stratford District for a morning of networking, knowledge-sharing and inspiration.
