Allotment Vacancies
We have a few allotments looking for new tenants. This includes the site in Hall Lane where we have recently repaired the wall and installed a new entrance. The parish council bought this site a couple of years ago to preserve it for the village. It's been used for allotments as long as anyone can remember. We don't know for certain, but we think it may once have been the kitchen garden for Harbury Hall. If you would be interested in taking on a plot on this historic site, please contact us.

We also have a couple of half plots, or could be one full plot, available at the Pineham Farm site off South Parade.

Allotmenteering is a great way to spend time outdoors, get fitter and meet new people as well as growing your own fruit and veg. Why not give it a go?

Good morning everyone, just letting you know that our next parish council meeting is on Thursday, 25 June 2026 at 7.30pm in Harbury Village Hall. As usual, there will be a public forum where residents can raise any item on the agenda directly with the council. Please come and join us. Deppers Bridge Road Closure

The B4451 through Deppers Bridge will be closed from the 15th - 29th June 2026 (all days 24hrs).

The road will be closed between its between its junctions with the B4451 Station Road and the C140 Harbury Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Vehicle access will be maintained where possible and safe to do so for residents and businesses only.

This closure is required to enable urgent carriageway resurfacing work to be carried out.

The next parish council meeting is on Thursday, 28 May 2026. This month, immediately prior to the ordinary business meeting, we have the annual meeting of the council which is when the chairman for the forthcoming year is elected and councillors are appointed to the council's various working parties. As usual, members of the public are welcome to attend. Time is set aside for you to address the council about any item on the agenda. So, if you have a question, please come along. Crown Street will be closed on 10 June 2026 for the replacement of a telegraph pole. Access to properties will be maintained where possible. The contractor is M J Quinn Tel: 01543 547 118. The community payback team has recently cleared vegetation and swept the footpath linking Percival Drive to South Parade. We think they've done an excellent job. This was organised via WCC who are responsible for maintenance of the footpaths. Many thanks to all involved.
