Leavening Parish Council

An interim Polling District Review and Consultation has been launched today and runs until 12th October.

The review follows changes made by the Local Government Boundary Commission to 14 parish ward boundaries, as well as the completion of a recent Community Governance Review involving 19 parish council areas.

The consultation will consider about 800 polling districts and approximately 500 polling stations across the county, with between 50 and 100 polling stations expected to be affected by proposed changes.

LOCAL BUS SERVICE - We have been asked provide feedback regarding the bus service in our area. The frequency, coverage & connections are very limited in the village so we have formulated some feedback already on this however we would appreciate any comments and thoughts from you all. The next parish council meeting will be happening tomorrow (6th July) in the church at 7pm. Items on the agenda include the successful grant application for the leavening Cemetery, if you want to be involved in transforming the cemetery space please get in touch or you are welcome to come along to the meeting tomorrow.
