Work to build a new playpark on Lee-on-the-Solent seafront has started. We're creating the bold new facility, which will be split into two separate zones - an adventure ninja trail for juniors and teens, and a fitness zone for older children and adults. It's being created on the site of the old skatepark and is part of our Liberal Democrat Council's commitment to investing in the borough's play areas and green spaces to help residents keep fit and have fun outdoors. More play area improvements are on the way. When something needs doing in Lee, Liberal Democrat Councillors Get Things Done.

Just to keep everyone in the loop!

The initial demolition works at the Oz are planned to commence on the week beginning Monday 13th May. This will mean that the part of Hill Head Road in front of us will be closed. We are unsure at the moment what diversions will be in place. We will keep you all posted as and when we know. Please remember we are still OPEN and plan to remain so during the works which are scheduled to take up to 6 weeks.

We are open Tuesday - Sunday, 9am - 4pm. We serve breakfast 9am - 11.30am. Lunch 12pm - 2pm then hot drinks, sausage rolls and cakes from 2pm until close.

The local area has now lost two businesses, please don't let us be the third! Please use us or lose us! 💙

Following her request that the yellow road markings by Lee School are renewed Lizzie Maynard-Seal has heard from Hants CC Traffic Management that “a job has been created and sent to our contractors to refresh the lining in the area. Please be advised that the works could take 8 – 12 weeks to be completed”

Lizzie Maynard-Seal has been on the phone to Southern Gas Networks concerning the reinstatement of the grass verges where they have been working in the York and Chester Crescent area of Lee.
The work in Lee is due to continue for another month with disruptions to traffic around Portsmouth Road.
There has been a case raised with a reference number of CRM2572487. Lizzie was told that the work in Chester and Warwick and Pennine should be finished on the 29th April and that the reinstatement team will come in 2 days later. We need to keep an eye and make sure it is done to an acceptable standard!
