Stay well in the heat ๐ก๏ธ๐ฅตโ๏ธ
Hot weather can affect anyone โ especially older people, young children and those with health conditions. Stay safe and healthy during warmer days with these simple tips:
๐ง Drink plenty of water
๐งด Wear light, loose clothing
๐งข Wear a hat and sunscreen outdoors
๐ Keep your home cool by closing curtains during the day
๐ณ Avoid being outside in the hottest part of the day (11amโ3pm)
๐งโ๐คโ๐ง Check in on vulnerable friends, family and neighbours
If you feel dizzy, sick, unusually tired or have a headache, move somewhere cool, drink water and seek advice if symptoms continue.
