Officers in the Moortown Ward are holding community events with advice on local issues. We will have crime prevention devices to distribute and also security marking bicycles.

Monday 13 Feb - Northside Retail Park, Moortown - 10am - 2pm

Tuesday 14 Feb - Moortown Gardens (Moortown corner shop parade) - 2-6pm

*Update on the Meanwood Junction*
I've just heard from Cllr Chris Howley that the Highways Department have decided to revisit their plans after learning about the number of concerns from local residents! This is no surprise considering our petition garnered over 200 responses. I'd like to thank everyone who filled out the petition and let us know their views. I'll be sending a summary of the results to the highways department so and offering to further discus any issues. I've also made a Word Cloud of the responses to the petition that nicely highlights peoples main concern, it's very nerdy but oh well...
