It is with sadness that we have to announce the loss of another member of the HR Fire family.
Ruth Webster, Harry Webster Snr's wife and the R in HR Fire passed away on the 13th June 2026 at 12.30am.
She had been suffering from dementia for many years and so her passing which was peaceful is a blessing.
Ruth worked hard when Harry set up the business and did cleaning jobs and evening work to allow Harry to build the business. HR Fire would not exist today without her hard work in the background.
She was also Mum to Darren and Lorraine, and Grandma to Harry Webster Jnr and Chloe Webster.
I hope she is now reunited with Harry Snr.
The picture added is of Harry, Ruth, Darren and Lorraine not long after HR Fire was started 50 years ago.

We will be closed for the day on Monday 26th January to respect our founder Harry Webster Snr. and for us all to attend his funeral.
We will then be open as usual on Tuesday.

It is with great sadness to announce that the founder (and the "H" in HR Fire) Harry Webster Senior passed away on the 23rd December 2025 and the age of 89. Harry started the company in November 1976 and in that time grew the company into what it is today. It is very heartening to have so many messages from many people that Harry knew and worked with over the years before dementia finally forced him to hang up his suit jacket.
He was very proud that his son Darren and now his grandson Harry Jnr are looking after the company and continuing his legacy, using everything that he taught.
If you ever spoke to him or dealt with him in some way, please raise a glass in his honour. He will be greatly missed.
