Monthly Advice Surgery Beeston Library Hub!
A fairly busy surgery this month. It was good to meet local residents face to face and do our best to support them with their concerns.Our advice surgery is held every first Saturday of the month, 10am–12pm, at Beeston Library Hub, with either myself or my colleague Cllr Andrew Scopes available to help.

What a fantastic atmosphere at the Cardinal Square Youth Activities Day! It was wonderful to see so many children and families having fun, enjoying the activities, and making great memories together.

Well done to the South East Youth Service for organising such a fantastic fun day for local children and families. Funded by the Inner South West Community Committee and supported by your local ward councillors.

🚗 Joint Visit with Leeds City Council Environmental Crime Team 🚙

Officers from the Leeds South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), alongside Leeds City Council’s Environmental Crime Team, visited Barkly Road this morning to speak with local businesses and residents about ongoing concerns regarding nuisance vehicles and vehicles causing an obstruction.

Local businesses were reminded of the Environmental Crime Team’s enforcement powers and that vehicles may be seized where legislation is not being complied with.

Officers also discussed practical solutions with those affected, and regular patrols by both teams will continue to ensure the agreed measures are being followed and to help keep the area safe and free from obstruction.
