We are passionate about our environment and are saddened by all of the recent wildfires and damage to our beautiful countryside.
That is why we are asking our borrowers to consider their use of any pizza ovens, barbecue equipment or campfires whilst the country is grappling with the hot weather.

📖💡 How one book can inspire the creation of a community organisation!

We hear from Sarah, one of the co-founders of Buy Nowt LS6 - Library of Things and the inspiration behind the Library - the book 'Buy Nothing Get Everything Plan'!

📈 This amazing community resource has loaned over 12,500 items since its inception in 2021!
💳 One thing at the heart of the library is that it is 'Pay As You Feel' so that all members of the community can borrow items, no matter their income or financial status!
🫶 It has meant that members of our community have been able to borrow items that would ordinarily be out of their price range!

🙌 This is such an amazing, valuable resource for the Headingley community and we would love it if you could help us remain sustainable for years to come!
