Horsforth School Our secondary school and sixth form in Leeds is for 11-18 year old students. The Sixth Form at Horsforth, with separate campus, welcomes new students.

We firmly believe in opportunity and achievement for all and are proud to provide a first class education which aims to equip all students with the confidence, competence, knowledge, skills and understanding to fit easily and actively into a rapidly changing society. We aim to ensure that all students enjoy learning and achieve their potential, not only in their studies but also in sporting, creative and practical endeavours. We encourage hard work, courtesy, good behaviour and service to our community. We provide many opportunities to develop these attributes both inside and outside of the classroom.

🌿 More than a trip. A chance to grow.
Our Year 7 students headed to Herd Farm for an action-packed adventure this week. Along the way, they stepped outside their comfort zones, built confidence, strengthened friendships and supported one another — with our teachers getting stuck in too! 💚
Experiences that build skills, friendships and character, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our Mental Health Ambassadors are helping make wellbeing part of everyday life at Horsforth School. From promoting the Five Ways to Wellbeing to offering a friendly ear, they’re here to support our school community.
Because sometimes, having someone to talk to makes all the difference. 💚
