Someone’s got to keep an eye on things around here 👀
Meerkats live in groups called mobs and take it in turns to act as sentry, scanning the horizon for predators whilst the rest of the gang gets on with the important business of foraging. The lookout will call out specific alarm sounds depending on the type of threat, so the mob knows exactly what’s coming and which way to run.
