Regular maintenance is essential to the performance and reliability of any fire safety system. A system that is properly maintained is more likely to perform when it is needed most โ€” helping protect people, property and business continuity.

A planned service plan helps ensure:

โœ… Systems are regularly inspected and tested.
โœ… Potential faults are identified before they become bigger problems.
โœ… Service records and certificates are kept up to date.

At Liberty Systems, we provide planned servicing, responsive fault support and system maintenance to help businesses keep their fire safety systems operating effectively.

It's one of those small tasks that's easy to overlook, but it plays an important role in keeping your building, your team and your visitors safe.

Taking just a few minutes each week helps confirm that your fire alarm system is working as expected and gives everyone confidence that it will perform when it matters most.

As part of your weekly test, remember to:

โœ… Test a different manual call point each week where possible
โœ… Confirm the alarm can be clearly heard throughout the building
โœ… Check the control panel operates and resets correctly
โœ… Record the test and any faults in your fire alarm logbook
โœ… If you identify any defects, contact your fire alarm service provider to have them investigated and repaired

๐Ÿ“Œ If your fire alarm system is monitored by an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), don't forget to place the system on test before carrying out your weekly test.

A simple weekly check today can make all the difference tomorrow.

Stay safe, stay compliant, and if you have any questions about your fire alarm system, we're always happy to help.
