๐ Every child deserves a safe place to learn, play, and grow.
As part of Child Safety Week, we're encouraging parents, carers, and guardians to take a few moments to discuss fire safety with their children.
๐ฅKey fire safety tips:
โ
Tell someone straight away, a grown up if possible
โ
Never play with matches and lighters
โ
Plan and practise a home escape route.
โ
Teach children what to do if they discover a fire.
โ
Know how to call 999 in an emergency.
โ
Never go back inside for anything
โ
Get outside as quickly as possible. Don't try to hide from the fire
By working together, we can help prevent accidents and keep children safe.
๐จ Remember. Check you smoke alarms!
