📣📣🎭Welcome to our next 'Sensory Theatre' and come on a journey with us to ancient Egypt!
Linked to this term's whole school theme 'Can You Dig It', pupils have the opportunity to explore the space and find the treasure, build the pyramid and (if they are brave) open the sarcophagus to reveal the mummy. With lighting, scents, music and materials to touch, our Horizons pathway staff have collaborated to create another fantastic sensory space, where our pupils can join in with a sensory story or simply explore the calming environment👏👏

📢 Puzzled 2026 – What a fantastic event! 🧩
A big thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us for our annual maths problem-solving event, Puzzled, on Thursday.

It was wonderful to see so many of you there supporting the children.
As always, we were proud to celebrate maths in an inclusive way. Alongside traditional problem-solving, the children enjoyed:

All linked to maths and designed for everyone to take part and enjoy.

A huge thank‑you to Morro Partnerships for donating so many amazing resources for our Forest School sessions! 🙌

Our pupils used brilliant teamwork to sort everything, and then put their problem‑solving skills to the test to create something new.

What started as a train track quickly transformed into a balance‑beam obstacle course! 🚂➡️🌳

✈️ National Careers Week STEM Spotlight! ✨
Our Preparations Pathway learners took to the skies last week with an exciting STEM aviation activity!

They had the chance to:
🕹️ Try out flight simulators
🚀 Build and launch their own stomp rockets
🛩️ Fly polystyrene planes
💼 Explore a range of careers in the aviation industry

Last week, learners from Classes 13 and 15 took part in a workshop delivered by the Curve. This session followed their trip to the theatre, where they got a behind‑the‑scenes look at Aliens Love Panta Claus.

One of the highlights was creating a still image of a giant snowball fight! All learners had an amazing time and are looking forward to future workshops with the Curve!
