🏊🏾‍♀️ *Crown & Current — starts 22 October*

A swimming and hair care programme in Leicester for young people in foster, kinship and special guardianship care.

*Who it's for:* ages 5–16
*When:* Thursdays, 6pm — from 22 October
*Where:* New Parks Leisure Centre, Leicester

*What's included:*
• 40 weeks of swimming lessons with qualified instructors
• 10 hair workshops for young people *and* carers — protective styles and managing hair
• 4 family splash sessions in the school holidays
• Goodie bag for every young person

Carers are welcome alongside the young people they look after.

Well done to the Black Girl Magic Group on delivering an outstanding presentation to the RPC Funders and DWP!

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Our visitors were incredibly impressed by the girls' passion, knowledge, and confidence, as well as the thoughtful way they articulated their learning and experiences.
