Be part of an exciting new community event!

Picnic in the Park is coming to Stamford Park, Groby on Sunday 16th August — a free, family-friendly summer event celebrating local businesses, charities, community groups and performers.

We have a final few spaces left for:

• Food vendors
• Stallholders
• Performers

For performers, we only have a few spaces left to join our fantastic line-up of local musicians, dancers, performers and martial arts groups. Performance sets are approximately 20 minutes long.

The Rural Community Council will be moving from Groby's Laundon Way Co-op to the Markfield community library for several weeks in May & June with their Little Cup of Joy project.

They will be at Markfield Community Library on Tuesdays starting from 26th May.

All are welcome to attend and enjoy a great cup of coffee with friendly conversation.

Thank-you so much to everyone who attended the March litter pick! It was a great success and we really appreciate everyone's efforts.

The next litter pick is Saturday 16th May. We will be meeting at Groby Parish Council Office at 10am and refreshments will be available around 12pm. All litter picking equipment will be provided.
