THANK YOU!
What a day! We’re so grateful to everyone who came along to our Picnic in the Park yesterday and helped make it such a fantastic afternoon. Seeing the park so full of people enjoying themselves was brilliant!
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible:
- Our staff and volunteers, who worked incredibly hard before, during and after the event to make sure everything ran smoothly and that the park was kept clean and litter-free.
- The entertainment companies and groups; Bouncy Days, Funfairhires Ltd, Mr Twister and Shona's Fabulous Faces and Groby Juniors Football Club, who kept everyone — especially the little ones — busy, smiling and having fun!
- Our wonderful performers; Mood Swing, EPA Studios, Candyfloss Entertainment, Enderby and the Groby Tuesday's, who brought music, dancing and entertainment to the afternoon.
- Our incredible food vendors and amazing stallholders, who brought such a fantastic variety of delicious food and drink, local businesses, community groups, crafts, treats and activities to the event.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came along. Whether you stayed for the whole afternoon, popped in for an hour, enjoyed the performances, tackled the inflatables, browsed the stalls, grabbed something delicious to eat or simply sat in the park with your family and friends — you helped make the event what it was.
Thank you for making our first Picnic in the Park such a special one.
