As well as books and local periodicals, we offer much more - including public computers, copying and printing, free wifi and a growing local history section. We are a Warm Welcome location, so you are welcome to stay in the library for a while and enjoy free tea, coffee and squash.

On Tuesday 1st July 1-3pm, Richard Nobby Styles will be in Markfield Library. He runs a 'HUBs' for the Rural Community Council across the Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Area. This helps people wanting to volunteer and organisations looking for volunteers. Also, funds are available to community groups, so if you run a local group you could get up to £3,000. Please pop in or contact him, [email protected].
