A little temporary post π
Many of you know that I self-funded The Mill and continue to volunteer my time to run our play sessions.
Every booking helps fund the running, upkeep and new offerings at The Mill, but I don't take a wage from it. Alongside The Mill, I have four other jobs and three children, so protecting family time is really important to me.
As we head into my favourite season, I'm putting some boundaries back in place around social media and emails. I dedicate Mondays and one weekend day to The Mill, schedule posts in advance, and keep notifications switched off.
If I'm slow to reply, please know it's never intended to be rude. It's simply the only way I can continue running The Mill as a volunteer while also being present for my family.
A few quick reminders:
β’ Saturday is fully booked
β’ Directions are sent in your reminder email
β’ We can't offer swaps or booking changes
β’ Sibling places require a message, but we have no availability next week so time for response
β’ One adult per booking, as stated in the session description
β’ Parties are fully booked until March 2027
Since Monday, 17 inbox messages have landed. I genuinely appreciate every one of you, but I simply don't have the hours to respond daily.
