💒✨ A Huge Congratulations to the New Mr & Mrs Battersby! ✨💒

Yesterday was a truly special day as Miss Taylor became Mrs Battersby! ❤️

On behalf of everyone at Leigh St. Peter’s C.E. Primary School, we would like to wish the happy couple every joy and happiness as they begin this exciting new chapter together.

The bride looked absolutely stunning, the groom looked incredibly smart, and together they made a wonderful couple. However, we think it's fair to say that their beautiful children may just have stolen the show! 🥰 What a gorgeous family they make.

We are delighted for you all and hope your future is filled with love, laughter, happiness, and many wonderful memories together.

☀️ A Summer Message from Leigh St. Peter’s C.E. Primary School ☀️

As another wonderful school year comes to an end, we would like to wish all of our children, families and staff a very happy, restful and enjoyable summer holiday.

We are incredibly proud of everything our children have achieved this year. From learning new skills and making new friendships to showing kindness, resilience and determination, each and every child has helped make Leigh St. Peter’s such a special place to learn and grow.

As you enjoy the summer break, please remember to stay safe:

💛 Wear sun cream and stay hydrated during hot weather.
💛 Stay safe when travelling, cycling and playing outdoors.

🎉 Reception had a wonderful time celebrating all of their hard work this year with a fantastic end-of-year party! 🥳

We loved spending quality time with our grown-ups, playing fun games with our friends, and enjoying some delicious treats together. 🍦 🍰 🎈

What a brilliant way to celebrate an amazing year of learning, laughter, and achievements. We are so proud of everything our Reception children have accomplished and wish them all the very best for their next adventure! 💙✨

There were lots of smiles, laughter, and plenty of splashes as everyone joined in the fun! 💧😂 It was a fantastic way to celebrate together and create some wonderful memories. 🌈👏

🌟 Year 6 Fun at Howe Bridge Leisure Centre! 🌟

Our Year 6 children had an amazing time at Howe Bridge Leisure Centre yesterday! 🎉 They enjoyed exploring the soft play area 🛝, challenging themselves on the climbing walls 🧗, and showing off their skills at the skate park 🛹.

Throughout the visit, the children played brilliantly, supported one another, and represented our school with excellent behaviour and fantastic teamwork. 🌟 We are so proud of the way they conducted themselves and the positive attitude they showed all day. 👏💙

Well done, Year 6 – you were a credit to our school! ⭐😊

🎵 Year 5 have been listening to and appraising the iconic track Rapper’s Delight by The Sugarhill Gang. The children explored the song’s rhythm, beat and lyrics, discussing its importance in the history of hip-hop music. They shared thoughtful opinions, identified key musical features and reflected on modern music. 🎤🎶

🌟 Over the past couple of weeks, we have thoroughly enjoyed welcoming our new Reception class into school! 💙

It has been wonderful getting to know the children and their families as they begin their journey with us. The children were amazing, settling into their new classroom with confidence, enthusiasm, and lots of happy play. It has been a real pleasure to see so many smiling faces exploring and making new friends.
