Tactic TACTIC is proud to provide a free and confidential space for young people aged 12-19 in Leighton Buzzard/Linslade.

A place to make friends, engage in fun activities, and get support when needed. TACTIC is part of Leighton-Linslade Town Council. Open Daily: 9.30-6.00pm
Regular youth drop-in sessions Tuesday to Thursday from 3.30-6.00pm, free time and programmed activities. Other activities: see website for more details

The centre has 3 PC’s that are connected to the internet so yo

u can play games, check emails or do research for homework. TACTIC also offers support around any issues you have in your life with 1-1 mentoring. For many young people their youth worker is a person they openly talk to, and their youth organisation is a safe space where they are supported to explore themselves on their own terms. If you have a question you feel you can’t ask anywhere else or need advice about something that is concerning you then pop in and talk to one of the friendly helpful staff

The Centre also has a wide range of leaflets covering subjects that you may find useful in your life, so if you don’t want to ask a staff member, you can pick up leaflets to take away. Some of the issues TACTIC can support you with:

• Problems with your own or someone else's drug use
• Sexual Health Issues
• Housing/ Homelessness

This vibrant collection of artwork was created by young people taking part in the TACTIC Summer Programme, working alongside local artists Kathleen Fisher and Huw Thomas.

The group explored painting techniques, experimented with colour, and expressed their ideas through art. Inspired by nature, the sea, landscapes, and their own imaginations, each piece reflects the individuality and creativity of its artist.

The project gave young people the opportunity to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy a welcoming space where creativity could thrive. We're incredibly proud of everything they achieved.
