Sadly, many of Stewkley's mowing team are leaving this month to go to university to pursue their professional mowing careers. But do not worry, we have some very capable new members to fulfill these very important duties. We hope we have done a good job, farewell Stewklians :)

The Stewkley Enterprise Scheme is now taking place in 6 villages: Stewkley, Newton Longville, Drayton Parslow, Mursley, Swanbourne and Stoke Hammond! We are all very proud of this and clearly other villages also recognise the great work we carry out (if we may say so ourselves). Hopefully, the scheme will continue expanding and help more people, like us, find a job and help the local community!

The mowing season has once again started,
we are sorry we have had so long departed.
We've polished the signs and done our first mow,
it wasn't that great, we're not yet in the flow.
We ran out of petrol,
got beeped at by a 'yob'.
Overall it was hard work,
but we finished the job.

Now the season has restarted we will be regularly updating the page ( you can't say we're not dedicated) so if you're interested in finding a bit more about what's going on or just love lawn mowing please check it out for more amazing posts just like this one :)

Just been out mowing the north end of the village, very hot and had a few issues with the mowers involving smoke and a broken handle! But got some good exercise, bring on the chocolate cake!
