It’s now easy to donate online to the library service by visiting our website. We are often offered donations of money by users who wish to show their appreciation for the service. Now you can also support the library service by donating online. You don't have to donate. Hertfordshire Libraries are a universal and free service to the community. Your decision to d

onate is an entirely voluntary one. We ask that you donate only as much as you feel comfortable with. You may want to consider either a one-off payment or more frequently.

LEGO Club will meet on Monday 7th September at 4pm.
Suitable for children aged 5-11 years, and it's great for helping to improve problem solving, spatial awareness and creative thinking. LEGO club is also great fun 😀

The , Read to the Beat, finishes next Saturday, 5th September.
That means there is just a week left for children to finish reading 6 library books in order to complete the challenge.
Make sure you bring your children in so they can collect their stickers and a medal & certificate.

Our Pic-n-Mix group will meet again next Wednesday, 2nd September.
We will be joined by the Emilie, who is going to give a talk all about sharks.
Come along at 10.30am to have a cuppa, a chat and listen to the talk.

Ahead of her forthcoming novel Partita, the award-winning novelist Barbara Kingsolver is the feature of our latest display.
Her novel Demon Copperhead won the Women's Prize for Fiction and The Pulitzer Prize in 2023. The book was inspired by Charles Dickens novel David Copperfield. It follows the life of Damon Fields and his survival in rural Appalachia.
Other works include The Poisonwood Bible and Unsheltered.
