The campaign theme for October is Smoke Alarm Testing.

The easiest way to protect your home and family from fire is with working smoke alarms. Fit at least one on every level of your home and test them monthly. They could save your life.

• COVID-19 vaccinations for eligible people
• Advice on falls and free slippers (Eastbourne, Newhaven and Crowborough events)

A little reminder that Electric Blanket Testing returns week commencing 19 October!

🔌Bring your electric blanket or heat pad along for a FREE safety check at any of our events.
🫶 Dates and locations are limited, so it would be a huge help if people could help friends, family or neighbours by either bringing them along to one of the events or bringing their heat pad or electric blanket for them.

Help everyone's lovely pets this fireworks season!

Fireworks season is approaching 🎆🐾

Help your pets feel safer with a little preparation:

🏠 Set up a quiet, familiar safe space
🔒 Bring pets indoors before fireworks begin
🎵 Close curtains and use music or TV to soften sudden sounds
🐕 Walk dogs during daylight and keep them on a lead
🩺 Contact your vet early if your pet has a severe fear of fireworks
