Leyburn, along with pretty much every other fire station across the County have spent the last week over at Langdale Moor fire. The ArgoCat has been there all week with a rotating crew going over to operate it 🔥 🚒

An amazing effort by all involved to get this Wildfire under control - Firefighters, our Fire Control team, farmers, gamekeepers and estate employees, local people and businesses that have provided food and water and also the families and employers of the On Call firefighters who have been called away so much. 🙂

Crews from Leyburn and Bedale responded to a report of a fire to a combine harvester in a field. Crews are using 2 breathing apparatus and 1 hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
This incident is ongoing as of 5pm
